    Collapse overview
I am a behavioral scientist and my research involves a broad examination of biopsychosocial influences on health and well-being. Much of this work has examined the impact of digital stress management and innovative psychosocial interventions on self-reported psychological outcomes and device-assessed health behaviors in a variety of adult populations. This includes testing the efficacy of non-pharmacological and integrative interventions to improve quality of life and reduce symptom burden in adult cancer survivors. I also have expertise in the design and measurement of smartphone-based ecological momentary assessment (EMA) surveys and in the design and implementation of Just-in-Time Adaptive Intervention (JITAI). My published work is diverse and includes reports of clinical trials and observational studies, conceptual papers, systematic reviews, a meta-analysis, and clinical practice guidelines.

As an early-stage investigator and early-career faculty I am working toward an independent research career, merging my interests in digital health assessment and remote health monitoring using wearable devices and developing supportive care approaches to improve the health and wellbeing of people living with and beyond cancer.

PMC Citations indicate the number of times the publication was cited by articles in PubMed Central, and the Altmetric score represents citations in news articles and social media. (Note that publications are often cited in additional ways that are not shown here.) Fields are based on how the National Library of Medicine (NLM) classifies the publication's journal and might not represent the specific topic of the publication. Translation tags are based on the publication type and the MeSH terms NLM assigns to the publication. Some publications (especially newer ones and publications not in PubMed) might not yet be assigned Field or Translation tags.) Click a Field or Translation tag to filter the publications.
