CTSI Pilot Award (Jones)Jul 1, 2023 - Jun 30, 2024 NIH Infracalcaneal Peppering Injection Technique for Chronic Plantar Fasciitis: Protocol for a Parallel Randomized Clinical Non-Inferiority Trial Role Description: The goal of this study is to Assess the efficacy of infracalcaneal peppering injection with and without CSI for reduction in pain utilizing two validated patient reported outcomes measures (PROMs): the Visual Analog Scale (VAS) and Foot Health Status Questionnaire (FHSQ), administered at baseline, then at 2, 4, 8, and 12 weeks. Minimal Important Difference (MID) calculations for both VAS and FHSQ PROMs, specifically for plantar fasciitis, have already been investigated/established and will be used as a reference Role: PI |
