Hanchate PhD2496Hanchate, AmreshHealth Services ResearchHealth EconomicsDisparities, HealthcareCost EffectivenessAdministrative and Claims DataDevendrappaI am an economist by training and interested in the evaluation of healthcare policies and clinical interventions, with a focus on vulnerable subpopulations. I have long-standing experience in the use of large administrative and claims data and application of causal models for observational data. I have collaborated on cost and cost-effectiveness evaluation of clinical interventions at the provider level. My ongoing studies examine the impact of the Affordable Care Act insurance expansions on disparities in healthcare access and outcomes, unintended consequences of CMS performance-based payment programs, and the effects of the ambulance diversion on disparities in access to ED care. I also serve as the Director of the Program in Health Services Research.Professorplugins:FeaturedVideosFeatured Videosplugins:TwitterTwitterprns:coAuthorOfcoauthor ofprns:endDateend dateFaculty Rankprns:fullNamefull nameprns:grantAwardedBygrant awarded byprns:hasAuthorListauthor listprns:hasFacultyRankhas faculty rankprns:hasNetworkhas networkprns:hasPublicationVenuepublished inprns:informationResourceReferenceinformation resource referenceprns:isPrimaryPositionis primary positionprns:latitudelatitudeprns:longitudelongitudeprns:mainImagephotoprns:maxWeightmaximum weightprns:mediaLinksmedia linksprns:medlineTAjournal title abbreviationprns:meshDescriptorUIMeSH DescriptorUIprns:meshSemanticGroupNameMeSH semantic group nameprns:minWeightminimum weightprns:numberOfAuthorsnumber of authorsprns:numberOfConnectionsnumber of connectionsprns:numberOfPublicationsnumber of publicationsprns:personIdPerson IDprns:personInPrimaryPositionperson in primary positionprns:pluginSearchableDataProfilesRNS Plugin Searchable Dataprns:positionInDepartmentposition in departmentprns:predicateNodepredicate nodeprns:principalInvestigatorNameprincipal investigator nameprns:publicationDatepublication dateprns:similarTosimilar toprns:sortOrdersort orderprns:startDatestart dateprns:trainingAtOrganizationeducational organizationprns:trainingLocationtraining locationprns:uniquenessWeightuniqueness weightprns:yearyearAcademic ArticleArticleDocumentbibo:pmidPubMed IdentifierAddressAgreementvivo:authorInAuthorshipselected publicationsvivo:authorRankauthor rank in publicationAuthorshipvivo:degreeEarneddegree earnedDepartmentvivo:educationalTrainingeducation and trainingEducational Trainingvivo:freetextKeywordkeywordsGrantvivo:hasResearchArearesearch areasvivo:hasResearcherRoleresearch activitiesvivo:hrJobTitleHR job titleInformation Resourcevivo:linkAnchorTextlink anchor textvivo:linkedAuthorlinked authorvivo:linkedInformationResourcelinked information resourcevivo:mailingAddressmailing addressvivo:majorFieldmajor field of degreevivo:middleNamemiddle name or initialvivo:overviewoverviewvivo:personInPositionpositionsPositionvivo:positionInOrganizationposition in organizationvivo:preferredTitlepreferred titleResearcher Rolevivo:researcherRoleOfresearcher role ofRolevivo:roleContributesTocontributes tovivo:sponsorAwardIdsponsor award idURLLinkvivo:webpagewebpagerdf:predicatepredicaterdf:typetyperdfs:labellabelConceptAgentfoaf:firstNamefirst namefoaf:lastNamelast nameOrganizationPersonDermatologyEmergency MedicineWake Forest School of MedicineElsayedSolimanElsayed Z.
